What a wonderful start to this past weekend in Buffalo! Sarah and I went to school together when we were kids so I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her fall family portraits.  Not only did I get to see her, I also met her beautiful family! Their boys were fantastic and so full of energy! I had so much fun chasing them and playing! 🙂

And he’s off!!! 🙂 Caiden is such a sweet, great big brother!

It’s well into the fall season and we are seeing pumpkin everywhere! Pumpkin lattes, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin lagers, pumpkin picking so I thought it only fit to share this delicious, easy, somewhat healthy recipe given to me years ago from my wonderful mother-in-law!

Ingredients…

1 15 ounce can packed pumpkin

1 16 ounce frozen whipped topping thawed; cool whip or store brand (i use light or fat free)

5 oz instant vanilla pudding (typically use Jello brand)

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

graham crackers for dipping! or a spoon 🙂

Utensils needed: Mixing bowl, spatula, + measuring spoon

Directions…

1. Mix pumpkin, pudding and pumpkin pie spice, well using a fork.

Fold in whipped topping…

And thats it!!!  Put into a fun dish and chill until serving.

I fell in love with this family after about 5 minutes! Their baby girl is 2 years old and I have found that it could be a harder age to photograph.  The moment that the parents want them to do something, i.e. smile at the camera is when they do the opposite 🙂 . As yal may know by now my favorite and best images come from capturing pure, natural moments. And when she started crying and getting upset her parents were fantastic!! They started playing with her and she was having a ball, I smiled so much during this session and while going through them in post production!

I hope this gets all my blog followers Friday off to a great start and you can smile as much as I did! 🙂 Happy Friday!

I had so much fun with our local radio personalities, Joey + Heather on air with Movin 100.3 ; 96.5 and Skip Clark + Taylor Smith on air with Wolf  105.1  New Country radio. Before I start photographing a couple or a family I always express to them to be themselves and I will document it beautifully and it can be tough when there is a camera in your face, at least in the beginning :).

When individuals come in for head shots they are already 90% prepared to do just that with small directions from me since it’s images of themselves alone.  With Joey, Heather, Taylor, + Skip their personalities shined, they were awesome and all so much fun, I enjoyed every minute getting to know them and just having a great time!

I only hope they had as much fun as I did!! 🙂 We started with an in-studio session with Joey and Heather then went outdoors with all four. I hope you enjoy the images! Thank you so much for having me!

Erika + Eric got Married last year at this beautiful venue, Highland Forest Skyline Lodge in Fabius, NY.  They wanted a session to show them one year later with their beautiful addition to their family.  I had the honor of photographing him as a newborn and now at two months old, he is growing so fast! This sweet baby girl was born 6 days before this session and I was blown away with how aware of her surroundings she was and loved all her smiles! Such a happy baby already, but makes sense because she has two wonderful parents! Congratulations again, I couldn’t be happier for you two!

There is nothing like witnessing the love of two people on their wedding day and it sure was apparent in Adam and Carrie last weekend.  They share a love for golf so it only made sense to say their vows to each other surrounded by all their family and friends on the green at Lakeview Country Club.  The love, laughter, and fun these too have with each other and their family and friends was a amazing to see and document, I am so happy they chose me to capture these memories for them.

Thank you so much for having me, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

I cannot get enough of senior portraits! Initially I was nervous/intimidated to photograph high school senior portraits, but each senior I meet, each dream and goal I hear, and personality I learn I fall more and more in love with photographing them!

Haley was so sweet and a little shy at first (who isn’t initially in front of a camera!) she warmed up as the session went on and then we went to a local school field where she was this strong, powerful, athletic, fearless women! It was amazing to see and photograph her jumps; the strength and power was incredible! She certainly has a passion for cheerleading and seeing her dedication to the sport as well as her sweet, friendly personality I am certain she will have a wonderful future! I wish you the best and thank you for having me!
