We just had to share some photos from Roman’s cake smash! His Mom wanted to do a few camping theme photos to fit his birthday party theme and then we swapped over to a backdrop that would go great in their home! I love planning these cake smash sessions, or in Roman’s case, pie smash ;), and its so fun to see what the babies will do when they get the cake!

Cake Smash Photo Session | Syracuse Baby Photographer

Does this get you excited for Spring!?!? I cannot wait to watch everything come to life at The Farm! I have been wanting to blog this session for a long time!! One of my favorite clients that I have been so blessed to be photographing since they were engaged! You may have seen them on my recent blog post Reason 1,051 on Why I Love My Job.

So we had about 30 minutes before the rain started falling and Brooklyn knocked this session out of the park! I just loved everything about this session. The clothing choices, accessories, and decorations. And as a last minute decision we ended the session in a bath 🙂 I hope you love some of these moments captured and it brings a smile to your face as we head into another work week!

Cake Smash | Syracuse, NY Family Photography

Another adorable, sweet, baby girl turned one a few weeks ago!! Her first cake smash was filled with laughs, great cake eating and a few cries. The anticipation to see how each child reacts to the cake contributes to making these sessions so much fun! I love capturing these moments for parents and what an amazing time in their childs life to document and be able to share with them when they grow up. Thank you so much for having me be a part of and documenting this moment in your sweet girls life. ❤ Always have to grab a quick shot of the family before the cake smashing! This cake was AMAZING! I don’t know if there is any better way to start off this beautiful Friday morning then seeing this absolutely adorable smile. I cannot believe Sam is ONE! It feels like I just photographed her newborn photos!

Celebrating One with a Cake Smash! | Children Photography Syracuse, NY

This was the second cake smash session in my studio and although I didn’t think it could be possible, this cutie made me love them even more! He dove right in and had the most infectious smiles and expressions! I have the extreme honor to document his parents wedding in the fall and I cannot wait to tell the story of their wedding day and photographing him in a tux will be a bonus!! ❤
