A Hayloft on the Arch Wedding | Vernon Center, NY | Pat & Amanda

Although it was five months ago, it feels like yesterday we entered Hayloft on the Arch to a room full of girls excitedly getting ready for Pat & Amanda’s wedding day.  I still remember all the special touches and thoughtful surprises that brought tears to Amanda.  The windmill added to her bouquet in remembrance of her grandmother, the moment she saw people so special to her heart arrived and filled her heart, and the moment she saw her soon to be husband the first time that day- smiles so so big.

Its amazing how it was five months ago but going through the moments captured it feels like yesterday, the power of photography and its ability to evoke the emotions felt at the moment in time it was captured.

I am obsessed with the first look!! Being married, I wish we did this, it is truly the most amount of one on one time you get with your groom on your wedding day! I always joke that I barely saw my husband on our wedding day (but its so true!) with the craziness of the day it is hard to stop and really spend time with one another!

Also you get a true reaction of seeing each other for the first time without worrying about everyone else around you and your reactions are in the same frame in the camera rather than separate photos.  Just love these moments captured during Pat & Amanda’s first look ❤ 
When its raining and your bride is totally on board with sitting down! ❤ #MYKINDOFBRIDE 🙂 hahaha I think someone stepped on his toe! 😀 LOVE kids in weddings! ❤ This outtake is a favorite! In love with the charm of Hayloft on the Arch! Such a gorgeous venue with owners truly committed and passionate about giving each bride  and groom a perfect wedding day.  Was so happy to be back at this venue!  ❤ ❤ ❤  The MOST amazing donuts!!! From Glazed and Confused ! We have never seen a line so long for deserts 🙂

They first met in high school, they had the same 10th grade Biology and Gym class but they were just acquaintances.  It was their first month of college when a camping trip would amazingly change their lives almost 8 years ago.  In September of 2015 they went on a hike and David asked Ashley to spend the rest of their lives together ❤

Chelsea & I were giddy all day about this wedding day, their families, their wedding party, the BEAUTIFUL venue, Tailwater Lodge  in Altmar, NY, great/sweet speeches and mostly the love and joy these two have for one another.

    This venue is amazing!   Another beautiful group of bridesmaids!Sisters ❤ ❤ We moved the altar in and out of the tent, would you say 6 times guys? 😀 So happy we decided on the outside!  Thanks Chelsea for grabbing this awesome angle of the kiss!!! ❤  Group Hug! LOVED this moment! David wrote a little note to his bride, it was so so sweet! ❤ “I love her smile & and her late laugh (she laughs at things later than everyone else, like when they’ve already finished laughing she starts laughing). A Hayloft on the Arch Wedding | Vernon, NY | Jen & Josh

The sun shined brightly in Vernon NY last Friday at Hayloft on the Arch.  There was something in the air. Perhaps it was the sun shining brightly or the breeze that rolled through the hills, but friends and family showed up ready to celebrate. Yes, there was a party to be had and dancing to do, but the marriage is what it was all about.

It has been 6 years since Jen & Josh met at a festival in Syracuse NY where Josh first noticed Jen’s “vibrant smile and beautiful green eyes”. That day in 2010 turned into today, a day they would never forget surrounded by all the people they loved as they promised their love to each other and made a vow to live life’s journey by each others side.

Hayloft on the Arch is a stunning venue! The details Jen & Josh put into there day were absolutely amazing, I think myself and Hannah’s jaw dropped walking in a little! We fell in love for sure with this rustic, country, charming venue!
