Backyard Family Portraits

I had a great time photographing this family, especially the kids. Loved learning their personalities and documenting them.  They made us work for smiles, but my favorites are them being themselves!! The best family portraits, in my opinion, isn’t everyone looking at the camera but the moments captured where everyone is interacting and being themselves, whether crying, laughing, playing or loving each other 🙂

Football Player_High School Senior Session

Football is my all time favorite sport, primarily I watch the NFL and my team is Buffalo Bills, I know! This year will be our year 🙂 Anyway, I love every aspect of this game so photographing this senior was so much fun.  He has a passion for this sport and I am sure he will get a scholarship to a great collage and maybe one day I will be watching him in the NFL! I enjoyed hanging out with him, his Father and Sister, and love the photographs of them together!! Thank you for having me, I wish you every success in your future!

Fall Family Portraits

This is absolutely my favorite time of year.  So much so my husband and I created our own holiday, FALLADAY 🙂 For the past 6 years we have eaten breakfast in the same diner, taken a drive around Skaneateles lake to view colorful foliage, picked our pumpkins for carving, and our apples for baking.  The image you see in the flyer is where we spent our 5th Falladay and is also where we got engaged.

Every part of the season makes me happy; the smells, colors, sounds of blowing leaves and breaths of crisp air.  I would love to help create memories by photographing your family portraits this time of year.  Capture your little ones playing in the leaves, all yal walking in the park or a great portrait by the lake.

Country Home Family Session

I met Alex when I was a teenager,  she is my childhood best friends cousin.  I have seen Alex twice in the past 15 years so I was absolutely excited to hear from her and that they wanted me to photograph their family portraits! Alex grew up around horses and it was so beautiful to see her new life as an adult, a mother, a wife, and that her love for horses hasn’t changed.  The thing that changed is that she & Sam have an adorable, sweet, little girl to share these amazing animals with.  Their home is beautiful and I loved every moment I spent with them and their baby girl.  She just amazed me, being just under 3 years old, she jumped on her pony no questions asked.  The laughter and excitement as the horse trotted made my heart smile.  Horses are beautiful gifts and the love this family has for them was touching to see and photograph.  Thank you so much for having me.

Sweet Baby Girl_Newborn Session

What a beautiful morning photographing this sweet baby girl.  At 5 weeks old she was wonderful to photograph.  I enjoyed meeting and getting to know her parents, congratulations again, Jim & Mary!

1st Birthday Party Celebration_Gillie Lake

It was a beautiful summer day celebrating this little beauties 1st birthday! A slight breeze, clear sunny skies, and all their family and friends there made it a beautiful 1st birthday party! The theme was under the sea, and details and creativity Ashley put in was absolutely adorable.  I had a great time getting to know everyone and documenting her big day.  Just loved all the little ones there and watching their personalities! High School Senior Session

There is something amazing about photographing someone facing their senior year in high school.  Interacting and getting to know them is so much fun.  To see their excitement of graduating, the anticipation and unsurety as they face their future, and awesome personalities makes it one of my favorite sessions to photograph now!

I loved getting to know Emily and her mother.  They are beautiful inside and out.  Emily like many of us as facing graduation has a many interests and is unsure whether she will pursue Veternarian school or another avenue.  With 3 adorable pups and her interactions with them I could certainly tell she has a love for animals.  Whatever path you may take, Emily, I wish you every happiness in your future.   Thank you for having me! Newborn Session_Little Musician Zaiden

I just love his name! His mother and I had a great time photographing this peanut! After all the wiggles and jiggles it took some good ole country music to get him to get him relaxed. Family Session Tranquil Lafayette Home

I loved getting to know Karl & Barkley and meeting their newest addition to their family! The session was challenging since we decided last minute to brave the storm coming in and try to beat it, and I am so happy we did.  We had about 15 minutes before it came and we tried to wait it out for 30 minutes with no luck.  However, them being as beautiful as they are and the amount of love between them and that they have for their beautiful baby girl we got some great memories! Enjoy.
