Onondaga Park & Baseball Engagement | Adam & Courtney

He played for the Edinburg Roadrunners in Edinburg, Texas a team she started an internship for in 2010. “The first time I noticed her it was from a distance, after we first met, I fell in love with her beautiful smile and freckles.” Courtney played off her attraction to Adam and made him work for their first date but she was immediately attracted to him, his smile, eyes, and how he presented himself. She finally gave in and six years later we are celebrating their engagement and next year they will say I Do!!

I just loved everything about Adam & Courtney’s engagement session. How they look at each other, laugh together, and bring out a light in each other!

I first met Courtney when I photograph the talent at Movin 100.3 & Wolf 105.1 when I started Cylinda B Photography. I asked her if she would wear my wedding dress and help me create a shot I envisioned. Her, in my wedding dress and Adam in her fathers suit both so graciously came out and modeled for me 2 years ago (if you have been to my studio the large art piece is them!). I just loved them together so I was ecstatic when I received a text from Courtney on Christmas Eve telling me they were engaged and they wanted me to be their photographer I squealed at the dinner table!! I am so so honored and am getting more and more excited to see these two become man and wife next year!

We had to start the session at the heart of how they met, a baseball field!

“What I love most about Courtney is that not only is she beautiful on the outside but even more beautiful on the inside. She is a such a smart, strong and thoughtful woman. God molded her exactly for me in every way.”

Syracuse Engagement | The Farm | Rachel & Todd

They met on the kickball field 5 years ago when Todd was asked to sub on the team Rachel played on. That same night, you can call it fate, they ran into each other again at the Taste of Syracuse! They hung out the entire night and have been dating ever since!

Some moments at The Farm!! Had so much fun with y’all, your love and laughter is infectious and we cannot wait for next month! 🙂

Syracuse Engagement | The Farm | Jennifer + Joshua

I have yet to share all that has been going on in our lives and explain “The Farm”, we are finally settling in and I promise the post is coming soon!! 🙂 But I had the extreme pleasure to have Jennifer & Joshua out to photograph their engagement session and I just couldn’t wait to share some sneak peeks into their session!

I loved getting to know these two! They are so fun, the session was full of smiles, laughter, and you can just see how much they love each other. We spent the evening walking in the rain, through the woods, and they allowed me to experiment with a new toy! 🙂

Syracuse Winter Engagement | Lindsay & Adam

He first noticed her smile, that lit up the room. She loved his ability to make her laugh and found him quite handsome. Numerous failed attempts by his brother, Ryan and sister-in-law, Quinn to connect these two came to an end at a family game night that both Adam and Lindsay attended. Ryan + Quinn must know these two very well, because Adam and Lindsay had an immediate connection and have been inseparable since that night in the Summer of 2010!

What a great day celebrating these two! We started the morning with a coffee to warm up and brave the negative temperatures 🙂 Then we headed to the beautiful Chengarians Tree Land which looked like a winter wonderland! I had so much fun getting to know you both and I cannot wait until your wedding day! xo Cylinda B

Syracuse Snow Day Engagement | Jenelle & Shane

We seem to meet our soulmates in some of the most unlikely places, when we are not looking, or “by chance”. Whether it’s a high school sweetheart, an introduction through friends, a night out on the town, or in Jenelle + Shane’s case while taking out a mortgage for your first home! 🙂

This is a story of two people who met in what I said is an “unlikely place” but I truly believe there is a plan for us and what may seem “by chance” or an “unlikely place” is part of that greater plan that leads us to the person we live life with. Or call it fate, chance, meant to be, happens for a reason what have you, no matter how you may look at it I LOVE hearing about how it happens!

Another beautiful winter day in Syracuse! We had so much fun playing in the snow, walking around with their fur babies and I loved getting to know these two more!

Engagement at The Farm! | Maryrose + O

Winter break has passed by and I am crawling out of hibernation to get back to documenting life again and what an amazing way to start off the year with these two at our new home/studio (The Farm)!! More on The Farm to come in a future post so let’s concentrate on these two sweet sweet people right now!

They knew each other since high school, but years later Maryrose caught O’s attention walking by his booth at the NYS Fair. O called out her name and went out to talk to her, this was the moment that would change their lives <3.

One of my favorite questions to ask the bride and groom are what they love about each other most. And what I love most is when their answers melt my heart and bring me to tears of joy. Yes, I am a sappy romantic 🙂 The true love that I get witness and document and the amazing couples lives that allow me to be a part of it is such a blessing.

A Country Engagement | Ashley + Henry

They were visiting Niagara Falls on a brisk day in Buffalo, NY with some friends. After dinner they all decided to go see the falls lit up at night and while everyone got their cameras (phones 🙂 ) out Ashley decided to do the same to capture this beautiful scene. However, when she turned back around Henry was on his knee and he proposed to her!! What a beautiful scene to be in while getting proposed to!! On a side note if you haven’t visited Niagara Falls you need to put this on your list of things to see, it is absolutely gorgeous and only a few hours away!

What a fun day getting to know these two! We started the session at her friends farm and went down the road and got to see where their wedding day will be. I just loved hearing their plans and excitement for the day they will become Man and Wife! I am so excite for 2016! I am blessed with so many amazing couples!

Fillmore Glen Engagement | Kailey & Michael

Kailey and Michael had their first date over six years ago, they enjoyed ice cream and went out for tea and spent hours getting to know each other. In 2014 Michael asked Kailey to be his wife at Taughannock falls and they will saying their vows next year and I couldn’t be more excited to document their first day as husband and wife.

They both share the love of the outdoors, football and just spending time with each other. We spent the afternoon a Fillmore Glen walking the trails, visiting the waterfall and playing some friendly football! Although they don’t necessarily cheer for the right team they still were absolutely adorable! 🙂

I enjoyed getting to know you two more and I am looking forward to next year!! ❤

Syracuse Engagement | Olivia + Troy

Olivia and Troy met and became friends in middle school and stayed friends throughout high school. As they took their next steps in life they went their separate ways for college in different states and lost touch. They both found their way back home and bumped into each other at a mutual friends get together and started a relationship soon after!

I asked Troy what the first thing that he noticed about Olivia and he said in high school he remembered her paint on her shoes from art class 🙂 , but at the party years later that she was the most beautiful girl at the party!

Olivia says one of the things she loves most about Troy is that no matter what the situation is she can count on him to make her laugh.

Well it was amazing documenting these two and their love, laughter and happiness. The session was full of laughter and playfulness! Thank you so much for having me document your engagement photos, I wish y’all every happiness!
