They both graduated high school and were taking their next step in life, college. Moving into the dorms they were immediately acquainted since they were neighbors. Janelle + Peter quickly became friends along with many others on their floor. A friendship that went on for a year began to become something more their Sophmore year. Almost 4.5 years since that first day of college, an Empire State Building proposal, Janelle + Peter will say their vows in August!
In an effort to beat the rain we started their engagement session earlier at Beak and Skiff in Skaneateles, NY then we headed to Lourdes Camp for a picnic. They rain came quick but we had fun playing in it!! 🙂 
I LOVE this! Going into their session I kept remembering our initial meeting. From the second I approached the door they were full of laughter and smiles and this photo, to me, represents their personalities together. 
This was not a light rain session, it was down pouring. But I am a sucker for rain photos and they made the best of every moment together!
and rain makes moments so romantic! 🙂
