A Sky Armory Wedding | Syracuse NY | Kandice & Sam

Kandice & Sam are married!!! They got married and celebrated at the beautiful Sky Armory in downtown, Syracuse a few weeks ago.  Thank you so much for having us be a part of your wedding day, we hope you love some of these beautiful moments captured from your day!<3 Cylinda  & Chelsea!  The cutest flower girl!<3  We loved the vibrant colors in their details!! OMG another adorable father!!!  He was so sweet today!! We love everything about the first look on wedding  days!  Being  able to capture pure, beautiful, reactions seeing each other for the first time that day and in the frame :)….The amount of time a couple gets to spend alone together in comparison to getting all photos after the ceremony and before the reception. And also being able to capture them with their guests at cocktail hour! Such a beautiful first look on the Sky Armory garage rooftop!  A little bit of rain didn’t bother these too from seeing each other ❤ ❤ The best reaction from the groom 😀 These two have so so much fun together ❤ Just love the architecture in Sky! ❤ ❤ ❤ Love that all the girls were great about being outside while it rained, how awesome is the city reflection in their photos!! Handsome groomsmen! And so much fun! A fun bridal party!! Off to get married!! ❤

A Hayloft on the Arch Wedding | Vernon Center, NY | Pat & Amanda

Although it was five months ago, it feels like yesterday we entered Hayloft on the Arch to a room full of girls excitedly getting ready for Pat & Amanda’s wedding day.  I still remember all the special touches and thoughtful surprises that brought tears to Amanda.  The windmill added to her bouquet in remembrance of her grandmother, the moment she saw people so special to her heart arrived and filled her heart, and the moment she saw her soon to be husband the first time that day- smiles so so big.

Its amazing how it was five months ago but going through the moments captured it feels like yesterday, the power of photography and its ability to evoke the emotions felt at the moment in time it was captured.

I am obsessed with the first look!! Being married, I wish we did this, it is truly the most amount of one on one time you get with your groom on your wedding day! I always joke that I barely saw my husband on our wedding day (but its so true!) with the craziness of the day it is hard to stop and really spend time with one another!

Also you get a true reaction of seeing each other for the first time without worrying about everyone else around you and your reactions are in the same frame in the camera rather than separate photos.  Just love these moments captured during Pat & Amanda’s first look ❤ 
When its raining and your bride is totally on board with sitting down! ❤ #MYKINDOFBRIDE 🙂 hahaha I think someone stepped on his toe! 😀 LOVE kids in weddings! ❤ This outtake is a favorite! In love with the charm of Hayloft on the Arch! Such a gorgeous venue with owners truly committed and passionate about giving each bride  and groom a perfect wedding day.  Was so happy to be back at this venue!  ❤ ❤ ❤  The MOST amazing donuts!!! From Glazed and Confused ! We have never seen a line so long for deserts 🙂

A Sinclair of Skaneateles Wedding | Kelly & Jon

We had the honor to document so many love stories, high school seniors, children and families this year we wanted to share some moments captured throughout the year this winter with everyone that we didn’t have time to share over the summer!

We absolutely loved the charm of the Sinclair of Skaneateles venue in Skaneateles, NY.  There is so much character at this venue and a bridal suite for getting ready is a photographers dream.  And to top it off a beautiful couple, so happy, so in love, and with wonderful family and friends filled with so many touching moments just made this a perfect day.

The wedding was in June and I still remember the tears that fell when Kelly’s dad choked up trying to toast his daughter and son-in-law.  The moment they saw each other during their first look was so sweet, tears and laughter. The way Jon makes Kelly laugh, and how she makes him smile and the undoubtable love they have for one another.  Well that is enough from me, I will let the moments captured show their story of their wedding day!

I absolutely love first looks!! Why not spend more then 5 minutes with your groom alone on your wedding day?  It gives couples some time alone and to enjoy with each other before the craziness of the day begins.  Christie and Jeremy’s first look was so sweet.  Come on! Look how he looks at her!!! “I love Jeremy’s calm and kindness. He truly makes everyone around him feel important and special.” ~Christie❤ ❤ ❤  “I love Christie’s passion for helping people. No matter what people think about the situation, she will do what’s right” ~ Jeremy Mom’s ❤  I have to say Christie’s reaction when announced husband and wife is one of the best and sweetest we have seen!  SO SO SWEET!   Their fur babies!! ❤ Love all the details Christie and Jeremy made and put into their wedding day.   Christie did a brother sister dance, and we loved how excited he was all day for this moment with his sister! ❤

A Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel Wedding | Melissa & Jerryl

Jerryl & Melissa became man and wife at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel a few weeks ago.  So many touching, beautiful, emotional moments today.  We started the day with the girls getting ready, we entered the room that was filled joy & laughter and we knew right then today was going to be so much fun.

After Melissa was ready she made her way to the hall of languages where her Groom was waiting to see her for the first time, with so many SU fans heading to the game cheering her on and witnessing this moment!  His face, the fans cheers, and the happiness in their eyes made a beautiful first look Moment!

As the ceremony began tears fell as Melissa’s brothers walked her down the isle to give her hand to Jerryl, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.  Her dad was absolutely looking over this beautiful moment in her life. They were married by Jerryl’s mom which also made the ceremony so special.  With there vows, a kiss, and a jump over a broom stick they were man and wife!

Turning Stone Casino Wedding | Verona, NY | Jill & Doug

Jill & Doug got married two weeks ago at Turning Stone Casino and Resort and their day was perfect, it even rained at the right moments!!  Alone these two smile, but together their smiles triple.  Looking through moments captured throughout their day happiness filled my heart seeing how happy they make each other, they truly light each other up and it is captured throughout the day!  We couldn’t feel more honored that they chose us to document the day they vowed to spend the rest of their lives together and we cannot wait to see what your future brings.

 One of my favorite moments of today.  Doug reacts to Jill’s letter when he opened it, and the first line of Jill’s letter is noting what his initial reaction would be and he laughed so happily, we all did!  What an amazing thing to witness, a true example on how well two people know each other. I have the most beautiful brides! ❤  I am loving these first looks this year and becoming an advocate of them!! A wedding day is planned for 1 plus years and is over with a blink of an eye, moments and hours a blu.  The first look gives couples time to enjoy together before the craziness of day begins and gives us (as photographers) beautiful moments to capture. I mean look at the excitement on Jill’s face as she approaches Doug! Joy! Romance!Happiness! Cuteness!

Not sure if they realized I was stalking them after the ceremony and got to capture this sweet moments!Jill and Doug holding their parents wedding photos then all the happy couples together ❤ The night before at rehearsal Jill & Doug shocked everyone with their surprise officiant, her Uncle Pat!  ❤ Love this moment I stuck around to grab ❤ So many sweet candid moments from today! ❤ God planned for Jill & Doug to spend life together a long, long, long time ago and Kim & Nick’s marriage played the part in the beginning of Jill & Doug’s love story.  Jill’s best friend Kim from high school and Doug’s best friend, Nick from high school were dating and when they got married they paired them up at their wedding to walk down the aisle together almost 4 years ago.  They knew they would hit it off! They played slideshows from their childhoods, love the reaction of Doug here. Don’t worry Chelsea and I, basically new Moms of Sons were balling too!  We hope that our boys will find a beautiful, kind hearted, loving wife like you have ❤    Beautiful speeches!
Another beautiful moment ❤ Do you remember Lindsay & Adam from last year!?!?  So amazing seeing them!! ❤  So talk about down pour rain at the perfect time!?! Thank you Chelsea for amazingly getting soaked so we could catch the down pour before the umbrella arrived from the awesome staff!!!  Why everyone should want a little bit of rain on their wedding day ❤

Bayshore Grove Wedding | Oswego, NY | Mike & Cassey

Joy. Laughter.Personal Touches.Suprises are the things that come to mind when I think back to Mike & Cassey’s wedding at the beautiful Bayshore Grove in Oswego, NY on July 22nd.

These two just make each other smile and you see it throughout their entire day,  happiness, playfulness, laughter and so much love for one another & the overwhelming excitement to BE MARRIED!  Cassey was just so anxious/excited and was counting down the minutes until she saw Mike for their first look, it was so so sweet!

Cassey surprised EVERYONE (aside from me and the DJ 😉 ) with the surprise guest/ring bearer, Otto the Orange! The reactions were priceless!  And their day was filled with so many personal touches, one of my favorites was the cake smash poll! Moments below!  ( I think this surprised everyone just as much as Otto) 😀

Beautiful group of girls! ❤ ❤ ❤ Loved her blindfold idea!!  And his reaction was PERFECT!What did you notice first about Cassey? “Her blue eyes. Other physical attributes… (Hey, I’m a guy) and of course her cheerful personality. I quickly noticed how fun it was to be with her, how much she made me laugh and how comfortable I felt talking with her.”  He took a 360 peak at his beautiful bride! So cute, hey, he’s a guy 🙂 Cassey is the cutest!  “I love her dedication to family, her drive to get things done… when she is on a mission, watch out! Her willingness to put everyone before herself and her unselfishness. I love her blue eyes” ~ Mike What do you love about your soon to be husband? “His honesty, loyalty and strong core beliefs. I love that he cares to do things well and to do the right thing. He is patient and genuine. He always helps me to find my way back from a bad mood or a rough day and I love that he can be silly and always make me smile.” ~Cassey The surprise ring bearer!!! Love their reaction, especially Jake’s! He had to be the biggest fan! 😀 ❤Now that is a first kiss!! “sorry, Mike but move over” Otto 🙂 Definitely a favorite ring shot ❤
Again, the details were great!!  Cassey wanted to use river rocks and give some tables a river looks as there first “impromptu date” was jumping into the river ❤ I do need to know if there is a story behind these chicken wing donuts?!?  They really smelled like chicken wings!OMG! Lookalikes!  Fun speeches!  Laughed so hard during Pop Tarts Speech!

Sterling NY Wedding | Tiffany & Kyle

Four and a half years ago Tiffany & Kyle were out fishing at the same time on a long wooden dock.  Tiffany baited her hook, swung back her line, and caught herself the man of her dreams, literally!!! Kyle had to get 3 stitches, but it was well worth it because he got the love of his life in return!  ❤ Now this story is one for the books!!! ❤

Kyle and Tiffany were married a few weeks ago in Sterling, NY.  They share a love of running, which was incorporated throughout their wedding day.  A REAL passion for running-they ran the Mountain Goat the following day!!! From all the unique & creative details, to running their first mile as husband and wife it was a wedding we loved witnessing and being a part of.  Cylinda met Tiffany & Kyle 3+ years ago when they all worked at the Olive Garden and she always loved them together so we couldn’t have been more honored to be chosen to document their first day as husband and wife!!!
