Syracuse Winter Engagement | Lindsay & Adam

He first noticed her smile, that lit up the room. She loved his ability to make her laugh and found him quite handsome. Numerous failed attempts by his brother, Ryan and sister-in-law, Quinn to connect these two came to an end at a family game night that both Adam and Lindsay attended. Ryan + Quinn must know these two very well, because Adam and Lindsay had an immediate connection and have been inseparable since that night in the Summer of 2010!

What a great day celebrating these two! We started the morning with a coffee to warm up and brave the negative temperatures 🙂 Then we headed to the beautiful Chengarians Tree Land which looked like a winter wonderland! I had so much fun getting to know you both and I cannot wait until your wedding day! xo Cylinda B

Syracuse Snow Day Engagement | Jenelle & Shane

We seem to meet our soulmates in some of the most unlikely places, when we are not looking, or “by chance”. Whether it’s a high school sweetheart, an introduction through friends, a night out on the town, or in Jenelle + Shane’s case while taking out a mortgage for your first home! 🙂

This is a story of two people who met in what I said is an “unlikely place” but I truly believe there is a plan for us and what may seem “by chance” or an “unlikely place” is part of that greater plan that leads us to the person we live life with. Or call it fate, chance, meant to be, happens for a reason what have you, no matter how you may look at it I LOVE hearing about how it happens!

Another beautiful winter day in Syracuse! We had so much fun playing in the snow, walking around with their fur babies and I loved getting to know these two more!

Engagement at The Farm! | Maryrose + O

Winter break has passed by and I am crawling out of hibernation to get back to documenting life again and what an amazing way to start off the year with these two at our new home/studio (The Farm)!! More on The Farm to come in a future post so let’s concentrate on these two sweet sweet people right now!

They knew each other since high school, but years later Maryrose caught O’s attention walking by his booth at the NYS Fair. O called out her name and went out to talk to her, this was the moment that would change their lives <3.

One of my favorite questions to ask the bride and groom are what they love about each other most. And what I love most is when their answers melt my heart and bring me to tears of joy. Yes, I am a sappy romantic 🙂 The true love that I get witness and document and the amazing couples lives that allow me to be a part of it is such a blessing.

This Cutie Was Back In The Studio!

I swear this sweet girl was just in the studio for her newborn photos when her Mother called about documenting her at 6 months!! It is absolutely incredible seeing children grow and I adore being able to photograph stages of their lives. Olive was in the studio last month for her 6 month photos, she was full of smiles, laughter and curiosity! I cannot wait to see her and how much she grows and how her personality develops at her ONE YEAR session!

Happy New Year!

As we all get back into the swing of things now that another holiday season has past we look onto a new, fresh, exciting year! We reflect on 2015, make resolutions for 2016, and get excited for what this year will bring.

As I reflect back on 2015, I am grateful and completely humbled. Grateful to each one of you who continue to support me, allow me into your lives to document moments and memories, and who encourage and help me grow as an individual and business. I am humbled every time someone invited me and entrusted me to document major moments in their lives . Whether it was your wedding day, your high school senior’s portraits, or documenting your family this past year, it was amazing and I loved getting to know each one of you!

As I look onto 2016 I have many goals and aspirations. To name a few, I want to continue strongly in my faith, live and love more, continue my education to grow as a photographer and business owner, and most of all I want to impact lives as I know that I will be impacted by each one of my clients this year. I cannot wait to document love, happiness, personalities, and life defining moments. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love and am passionate about so here is to another wonderful year!!

Bayshore Grove Wedding | Christine + Brian

It was a beautiful fall day along the water at Bayshore Grove in Oswego, NY celebrating the marriage of Brian and Christine! The wind was whipping and it was a brisk day but nothing was taking away from this moment. Looking at and getting to know these two over the past year has been such a joy. The love and friendship between them is so beautiful and I couldn’t be happier for them!

I absolutely adored this moment! The moment came when the pastor asked if anyone had any objections to this marriage and the stare down Christine gave had everyone laughing, she is the cutest!!

Traditions at the Links Wedding | Chase + Tara

Chase and Tara attended the same college and lived in the same building a few floors apart. They often saw each other passing in the halls, but never talked to one another. Almost 10 Years later Chase walked into a pub Tara bartended at, they immediately recognized each other but didn’t know from where. They finally figured it out and their relationship began from there. Almost 5 years later last month they vowed their love & commitment in front of their friends, family and before God.

What an amazing day it was celebrating the marriage of these two at Traditions at the Links in Syracuse, NY. It was a brisk day but the sun was shining and nothing could take away from the excitement, joy, and beautiful emotions felt from the bride, groom, their family and friends throughout the day!

These two are so sweet and it was a complete honor to document their marriage and first day as husband and wife. Thank you so much for having us be a part of and documenting this amazing moment in your lives. We wish you a lifetime of health and happiness. ❤ Cylinda B

Fall Senior Portraits | Michaela

Michaela is my last senior portrait client of the year and boy did she make it fun and definitely made me going to miss photographing seniors!! I cannot wait to start them back up in the spring!

I just love documenting different aspects of individuals personalities and when photographing a portrait of one person you get to concentrate, see and pull out different sides of the individuals personality. Michaela was an absolute joy to photograph!

Sibling Love | Syracuse Family Photography

I just loved this session!! I know I say that a lot, but this is the first session I have done a session centered around older siblings. I am the middle child of 3 and throughout our years growing up I know our relationships, should I say fluctuated?! We were best friends, enemies, too cool, not cool enough, then back to best friends and then one of the few people we always can count on. There is something amazing about thinking back on life with my younger sister and older brother and everything and every personality change we have been through together.

When I spoke with their mother, Karen, about this session and she mentioned she did this every year I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was awesome, I loved how I can immediately tell how Courtney looked up to her older Brother. And how awesome Peter was with her and in the session, it brought back so many amazing memories of my childhood. I hope you love some of the moments captured. It was truly a wonderful experience for me, and I hope the same for y’all!
