Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Wedding | Janelle + Peter

The sun was shining with beautiful clouds in the sky, laughter filled the air as Janelle, her bridesmaids, and parents enjoyed the morning of what was going to be the perfect day in Skaneateles, NY. Joy, happiness, and tears filled the room when Janelle came out in her dress. The girls helped her put on the final accessories to prepare her for the walk down the isle at St Mary’s on the Lake in Skaneateles towards her soon to be husband, Peter.

As all their family and friends gathered around them, Peter + Janelle, made a promise to love and stay true to each other for eternity. The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away + celebrating with those who love them at the Hilton Garden Inn. I don’t think a smile left their faces once all day and night.

Peter + Janelle, I hope your honeymoon in Greece was amazing and the first few weeks as husband and wife have been wonderful. You deserve the best and I am honored to call you my clients… and friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. xo Cylinda

Onondaga Lake Park Wedding | Zac + Sicily

Zac and Sicily came into my life a few days before their wedding day. Initially they weren’t going to have a photographer come to their small, quaint, beautiful wedding but they changed their minds a week before and I was so happy they chose me to be a part of their special day. They are two of the sweetest people.

High School Senior Photography | Chittenango Falls, NY

What a beautiful day at Chittenango Falls State Park photographing this beautiful senior and her beautiful family. MacKenzie is going into her senior year and I know great things are in store for her future. She is such a kind, sweet, smart girl. I wish you every success and all the happiness!

High School Senior Portraits | Syracuse Photography | Baseball Player

Matt was my first senior guy session this year and first baseball player ever and it was fantastic!! We started in studio then headed to downtown Syracuse, then to his home field at West Genesee! He is such an amazing kid and getting to know his mother and father I can see why! Thank you so much, I had so much fun and am so grateful y’all chose me to document his senior portraits!!!

Syracuse, NY High School Senior Portraits | Megan

Education is Key | Cylinda B Photography

Aside from actually photographing, one of the things I love most about this business is that education is never-ending. There is always something to learn; a course to take, a workshop to attend, getting together with awesome local photographers to share and learn from each other etc. Education is constant and I love it! Believe it or not actually taking photos takes up approximately 10-15% of the time in running a photography business 🙂

Although the summer has been AMAZINGLY busy I was definitely clearing my schedule to spend the day with the organization I am proud to be a part of, PPSCNY, to learn about new lighting techniques. We spent the day a few weeks ago at the incredible venue, Wolf Oak Acres, in Oneida with these AMAZING high school seniors! They truly all were fantastic! Here are a few of shots from the day.

Big thank you to Erin for being my main subject of the day! You were awesome and a ton of fun 🙂

What an amazing day out at this family’s home in Jordan, NY photographing their family portraits. Two of the three children at this session I have known since birth and I don’t think I can explain how amazing it feels to be able to say that and to keep being asked back to document amazing times in their lives.

MKJ Farm Wedding | James + Trisha

James, a father, working full time on the night shift and Trisha, a mother, working full time at a hospital had very little time to go out and potentially meet their soulmate. Nowadays we hear it all the time and see it on TV the modern day of meeting people through online. And once in a while a true love story comes out of it! After many conversations online, James and Trisha decided to meet in person for a drink, which turned into a full night of laughter and an immediate connection.

A few years and a proposal later James and Trisha said their vows to one another in front of their family and friends. James still makes Trisha smile, and always has her laughing, it is absolutely beautiful to see.

It was such an amazing day in Deanboro, NY at MKJ Farm celebrating the marriage of James + Trisha. Thank you so much for having us and inviting us into your beautiful wedding day.

So many amazing details went into James + Trisha’s beautiful wedding day! Nobody went to the garter! So funny! Out of a fairytale! Such a sweet moment, they danced to a sweet song while exiting the reception surrounded by all their friends and family… Many thanks to the creative team that helped make this day so special!

Venue: MKJ Farm – The owner, Jack, was absolutely amazing and accommodating to the bride, groom, and every guest! He opened his home to the bridal party, transported everyone who needed assistance, and just overall a genuine owner!
